THREAT TO OUR FREEDOM! The decision was made to write the “Common Sense Books” because of my concern for the substitution of the “WANNABE PEERS’” judgment for actions of the “free market” and the government's blatant use of force to enforce that flawed judgment. Just as the predecessors of KING GEORGE III prevented the industrial revolution, the “WANNABE PEERS’” have used force, both real and implied, against the individual to maintain the “status quo” and stifle innovation. Of course, the research proved that the interference in the free market and the use of force against the individual entrepreneur had had a devastating effect on the economy. As destructive as the “WANNABE PEERS’” meddling in the economy has been to our standard of living and liberty, the research proved that most dangerous threat to our freedom is the use of force and threats of force to limit political dissent, coerce political support and reward political cronies. The tools that the “WANNABE PEERS” use to intimidate the producer, entrepreneur and industrialist and reward their cronies are:
threats of prosecution for violation of these “non-objective” laws) • A bureaucracy that establishes economic rules (based upon political power) and enforces those rules on a “guilty until proven innocent” basis • The “IRS” enforcing excessively complicated tax laws on a “guilty until proven innocent” basis. Many of those laws are more concerned with controlling behavior than providing revenue • “Earmarks” providing payoffs to political cronies to facilitate reelection • Inflation of the currency to provide the wealth used to reward political cronies The infamous “Cap and Trade” proposal proves the point. Even though the “Cap and Trade” proposal will be devastating to many businesses and industries, there is no organized opposition to that proposal. Now you know why! If we are to regain our freedom and prosperity, the first order of business must be the elimination of the “WANNABE PEERS’” use of the force of the government to punish political dissent and reward their political cronies. 1. Freedom creates prosperity
Five of the tyrant’s “showcase programs”, some over 100 years old, are analyzed in detail to show how these programs have produced poverty and despair. The analysis also shows how these programs have been used to punish political dissent, extort political support and reward the tyrant’s political cronies. To aid the victims of our educational system to understand the analysis of these programs, the following subjects precede the analysis of the tyrants programs: • The creation and meaning of wealth • The relationship between wealth and money • The strategy and tactics the tyrants have used to usurp our freedom. • The three economic systems , tyranny, the mixed economy and capitalism are defined The final chapter identifies the greatest danger to the American Revolution and provides the recipe to remove that danger and regain our freedom and prosperity. |
