11/10/2009 Many years ago, when our children were very young, one of them did something extremely stupid and I blurted out “how stupid can you be?” The child, always eager to please, ask “how stupid do you want me to be?” The “WANNABE PEERS”, the politicians who lust after the power and prestige KING GEORGE III provided the 18th Century English “PEERS”, must think on themselves as parents and the citizens as rather unruly children. Judging by their actions, they must want us to be very, very stupid. First the campaign rhetoric assured us that this administration would be the most “transparent” in history. Most of us took this to mean that all the proposals would be published and debated before new government action would be authorized. Wasn’t there something about a law being posted on the internet for 72 hours before it would be signed into law? Either the “WANNABE PEERS” had a different definition or the “WANNABE PEERS” lied. Imagine that, a politician telling a lie, unbelievable! Back in the early days of “information technology”, the term “information overload” was coined. The “WANNABE PEERS” have raised “information overload” to an art form. People used to put information they wanted to hide in the center of a type written page in the center of a long, boring document. You could publish the document, secure in the knowledge that few, if any, would ever read it. But no one would have even thought of hiding their information in a 2000 page quagmire. The “STIMULUS BILL” was 1588 pages long and the “HEALTH CARE REFORM BILL” was 1990 pages long, that’s 2 and 1/3 bibles long. Few people even realize the bulk of 2000 pages. Even if the “WANNABE PEERS” gave you 72 hours to read, understand and evaluate 1588 pages it could not be done. Even a genius could not do it and the average person would simply be overwhelmed. To put this “information overload” in prospective, consider the length of the following documents: • “BIBLE” 1567 PAGES • THE NOVEL “ATLAS SHRUGGED” 1200 PAGES • “UNITED STATES CONSTITUTION WITH 27 AMENDMENTS" 49 PAGES • THE NOVEL “WAR AND PEACE” 1424 PAGES • THE DECLARATION OF INDEPENDENCE 5 PAGES • THE “STIMULUS BILL” 1588 PAGES • THE “HEALTH CARE REFORM BILL” 1990 PAGES. What on earth are the “WANNABE PEERS” trying to hide? Who knows? The truth must be terrible or they would not go to so much trouble to hide it in a 2000 page document! The deception, alone, should make any thinking person reject it. Both the “STIMULUS BILL” and the “HEALTH CARE REFORM BILL”, in addition to authorizing huge expenditures, create many new bureaucracies with extraordinary powers to control the everyday life of the individual.
“WANNABE PEERS’” ability to punish political dissent and extort political support. The “WANNABE PEERS”, being masters of deception and misdirection, try to focus our attention on the cost of the bill, its questionable “advantages” to the uninsured and something called the “public option”. There is no mention of the tyranny that is the real purpose of the “Health Care Reform bill. These 2 bills total 3578 pages (over twice the length of the Bible) and I seriously doubt that anyone knows the full content or has any idea of the affects this legislation will have on the economy but you can bet that the “WANNABE PEERS” are lusting over the control it gives them over the individual. The Colonist rebelled against “taxation without representation” and yet we are accepting “tyranny without representation”. When a Congressperson or Senator votes for legislation, without knowing the content, it is certainly “tyranny without representation”. Even in his grave, KING GEORGE III must be laughing so loud that he keeps the whole of England awake. The research done to write the “Common Sense Books” proved that the greatest threat to our freedom was the ability of the “WANNABE PEERS” to use the power of the government to punish political dissent and coerce political support. The bureaucracy, the Antitrust Laws and the IRS have provided the tools to coerce the successful business person and severely limit their political dissent. The passage of the “HEALTH CARE REFORM BILL” will extend that power to control all our citizens. IT IS LATER THAN YOU THINK! The extended control of the individual created by the “HEALTH CARE REFORM BILL” and the “STIMULUS BILL” will destroy your life as you know it. The economic damage caused by the “HEALTH CARE REFORM BILL”, the “STIMULUS BILL” and the “CAP AND TRADE” proposal will cause irreparable harm to the economy. The result of these three proposals will be an economic crises that will make the 1930’s seem like the “good old days”. The “WANNABE PEERS” must be stopped now or the “AMERICAN REVOLUTION” will be undone, and KING GEORGE III will laugh so loud he will wake up all of Europe |
10/29/2009 Perhaps I was naive when I begin the research for the book, “21ST CENTURY COMMON SENSE”. The Antitrust Laws had done serious damage to the economy and had provided a mechanism for the “WANNABE PEERS” (politicians trying to regain the power and prestige afforded the 18th Century British Peers) to reward their political cronies with advantages over their competitors at your expense. How immature it was to think that the most important effect of these “non-objective” laws was the economic damage they caused. What I had never considered was that these laws were used to punish political dissent and coerce political support. How naive can you be? It did not take long to find that the most dangerous and destructive effect on our Republic was the ability of the “WANNABE PEERS” to use prosecution and the threat of prosecution for violation of the Antitrust Laws to punish and prevent political dissent. Of course, political support loses its value when the public learns that it is coercion instead of conviction that has created that support. If the political support is to have any value, the coercion must be applied covertly and with the utmost discretion. Apparently, the “WANNABE PEERS” have developed so much confidence in their control of the “preponderance of propaganda” that they can dispense with the discretion and openly threaten the dissenters with retaliation. On October 21, 2009 the Associated Press article (http: //www.google. com/hostednews/ap/article/ALeqM5jlMpJGn28kqCcgU- aGcYE_ZHW-ywD9BFB7880) “Dems Eye Insurance Industry’ s Antitrust Protection” by David Espo appeared. The article stated that Senate democrats intended to strip the insurance industry of its antitrust exemption to punish the insurance industry for criticism of portions of the Obama Health Care Initiative. Do you need more evidence that the “WANNABE PEERS” use the government’s monopoly on force to punish political dissent and extort political support from the entrepreneur and successful business man? Now you know why there is so little opposition from the business community against the “Cap and Trade” legislation, even though “Cap and Trade” legislation will be devastating to business and offers no advantages to the environment. |

11/20/2009 Months ago the Congress passed a piece of legislation (the Stimulus Bill) of over 1500 pages. Congress was not even allowed to read the bill because of the urgency to stimulate the economy. Because the bill had more pages than the Bible, few people could have read and evaluated the contents of the Stimulus Bill, even if they had a month to study it. In addition to totally unrestrained spending, the bill created many more government agencies with vastly increased powers. Months later, we still don’t know the extent of control these government agencies will exercise over individual freedom or the power it gives to politicians to punish political dissent, extort political support and reward political cronies. The Congress that voted for this bill had no idea of its content or the extent to which it attacked our liberty. Flushed with victory, the “WANNABE PEERS” introduced a new piece of legislation (labeled HEALTH CARE REFORM) totaling over 2000 pages which is scheduled for a vote in the Senate this Saturday (11/20/2009). Does anyone know the extent to which this monstrosity affects our individual liberty or the economy? Probably not, it was introduced earlier this week with, not enough time to even read it, much less evaluate the consequences of its passage. When the members of Congress vote for legislation without knowing the content of that legislation it is: TYRANNY WITHOUT REPRESENTATION!!!!!!! You should be outraged by the lack of responsibility of our elected representatives and you will be when you find out what they have done. It is not enough to ask your Senator to vote against this new assault on our freedom. YOU MUST DEMAND THAT THE “STIMULUS BILL” BE REPEALED AND THE LEADERSHIP OF BOTH HOUSES OF CONGRESS BE CHANGED! If the “HEALTH CARE REFORM BILL” is passed, a new several thousand page piece of legislation restricting the use of energy and totally destroying your standard of living will be introduced. But by that time it won’t make any difference, the AMERICAN REVOLUTION will be history. WELCOME BACK TO THE “MIDDLE AGES”!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |
10/1/2009 Our President has condemned the mountain of misinformation about his health care reform program and rightly so. But it seems that he has a problem identifying the false information. Actually the first piece of misinformation is the name of the health care reform plan. The dictionary defines reform as a change to improve. Well, the so called health care reform plan is a change but it certainly is not an improvement. The plan is not about improving health care. It is about increasing government control over the individual, you. Ayn Rand was born in Russia in 1905. She grew up during the Bolshevik Revolution and immigrated to the United States in 1926 at the age of 21. In 1936 she wrote the book “WE THE LIVING” based on her experiences in Russia during and after the Bolshevik Revolution. How does the book “WE THE LIVING” relate to the health care reform program? “WE THE LIVING” shows how the Communists used health care to control the individual. The heroine of “WE THE LIVING” had a lover with an easily cured but potentially fatal disease. To obtain health care for her lover, the heroine had to have an affair with a Communist party official. “WE THE LIVING” shows how a government with control of your health care controls you. When the colonists won our independence from England, the “PEERS” class of citizen ceased to exist in America. But some politicians still yearned for the power and prestige the British “PEERS” enjoyed. The descendants of those politicians, the “WANNABE PEERS”, have spent over 200 years trying to reclaim the position of “PEER” with all the power, prestige and control over the producer that the 17th century British “PEERS” enjoyed. Early on, these “WANNABE PEERS” realized that their constituency would be the poverty stricken, those dependent on the government for survival and special interest groups that demanded special treatment by the government at your expense. Even though the “WANNABE PEERS” give lip service to prosperity and claim to champion the poor, all of their programs destroy wealth and/or increase government control of the individual. The Washington D.C. “WANNABE PEERS” may not lust after your body as the Communist Official did Ms. Rand’s heroine but they certainly lust after your political support. Once the “WANNABE PEERS” control your health care, the message will be “SUPPORT TYRANNY OR DIE”. Of course, they won’t use those words but the meaning will be clear! Let's rename the health care reform plan the “health care control plan”. The name, health care reform plan, implies that the plan will improve health care. The plan has nothing with health care and everything to do with control of the individual and your wealth. The health care control plan is simply the latest in a series of programs designed to increase the “WANNABE PEERS” control over the individual and the nation’s wealth. The “HEALTH CARE REFORM PROGRAM”, excuse me I mean the “HEALTH CARE CONTROL PROGRAM”, is no different. It is a sure recipe to create poverty and the economic crisis that the “WANNABE PEERS” use to advance their agenda. The destruction of individual liberty began in the late 19th Century with the creation of the INTERSTATE COMMERCE COMMISSION and the passage of the Sherman Antitrust Act. The ICC almost destroyed the RAILROAD INDUSTRY. The cost to the economy of the neutering of the RAILROAD INDUSTRY for almost 100 years can’t be overstated. When the RAILROAD INDUSTRY was partially deregulated in 1980 the industry regained much of its competiveness. In less than 30 years, freight rates dropped by almost 50% and freight volume increased by a factor of 3. The industry profits took the RAILROAD INDUSTRY off the endangered species list. The history of the ICC demonstrates the fallacy of government control of the means of production. Few bureaucracies have been as devastating to the economy as the ICC but all have cost us dearly. The ICC was the first of the “FOURTH BRANCH OF GOVERNMENT”, the bureaucracy. The ability of the bureaucracy to create rules without Congressional approval and levy fines provides the “WANNABE PEERS” with the mechanism to control political dissent of the “COMMONS” (producer). While the bureaucracy has had a devastating effect on the economy, the greatest impact on our freedom is the ability it has given the “WANNABE PEERS” to control political dissent from the successful business man. The next act of tyranny by the “WANNABE PEERS” was the Sherman Antitrust Act, passed 2 years after the ICC was created. The Sherman Antitrust Act is a non-objective law that makes it impossible to build and operate a highly successful business without violating that law. In the early 20th Century, Standard Oil was convicted of being a monopoly under the Sherman Antitrust Act. Standard Oil’s crime? Between 1865 and 1890 Standard Oil exploited the consumer and the economy by REDUCING the price of kerosene from $0.58/gallon to just over $0.07/gallon. Fortunately for the economy, the prosecution of Standard Oil did not occur until 1909, well after the technology developed by Standard Oil had created the modern petroleum industry. By then Standard Oil had lost much of its control of the petroleum industry. Had the Antitrust Act been used to destroy Standard Oil in 1880 we probably would live in a vastly different world today. Development of the automobile would have been economically impossible. Gasoline at $0.58/gallon (without Standard Oil’s technology) in 1900 gasoline would have cost $14.50/gallon in 2008 dollars. The United States and the world owe much of its prosperity to the technology developed by Standard Oil. The Sherman Antitrust Act has been used to perpetuate the “status quo” and protect the “technologically challenged”, but politically powerful. It has resulted in massive economic damage. As devastating as the Sherman Antitrust Act has been to the economy, the major threat to our freedom is the ability of the “WANNABE PEERS” to control the entrepreneur with threats of prosecution for violation of the law. Both the Antitrust Act and the bureaucracy extended government control over the entrepreneur and have posed a severe limit on our prosperity and limited political dissent. The next great big increase in the power of the “WANNABE PEERS” over the individual was the 16th Amendment to the Constitution, the income tax. Although the progressive income tax is a drag on the economy and a direct attack on prosperity, it is not the actual tax that is the greatest threat to the Republic. The REAL threat is the ability of the “WANNABE PEERS” to use the IRS to control and prosecute political opponents. Documented facts show that both FDR and Nixon used the IRS extensively against political opponents. There is some evidence that most Presidents since FDR have used the IRS to attack both political and personal enemies. Evidence of this type of activity is difficult to obtain until the principles have passed on. The IRS provides the “WANNABE PEERS” with a powerful tool to control any successful person. The threat of IRS action can, and has, silenced political dissent while forcing political support. It is difficult to use the IRS against working class individuals with uncomplicated income. The “HEALTH CARE CONTROL PLAN” will provide control of ALL individuals including YOU. The “WANNABE PEERS” have the bureaucracy, IRS and the Antitrust Laws to control the entrepreneur and successful business person (the producer). They have the IRS to control the prosperous individual with complicated income structure. If successful in enacting the Health Care Control initiative, they will have control of everyone, just as the Communist official controlled Ayn Rand’s heroine and that includes YOU!
